First thought established in 1942, we dicovered an advertisement in a local paper in 1938, in a different location. We are searching for more history about the business’s inception & Lola Wigg herself. Lola Wigg Hair Café is an Albury hairdressing icon, and with only 3 changes of ownership to date.

Moving into our new location on June 6^th 2015, has taken us on a new journey of growth and diversion.

Currently run by Bree Brown (since 1995) and Co-Director, Billie-Jo McCarthy (since 2006), Lola Wigg provides unparalleled hairdressing & beauty services to a valued client base, with a focus on value added servicing.

Education standards

Our key focus at Lola Wigg Hair Café is ensuring education standards are extremely high.

Our team is fast tracked through their training via a structured, systemised education program. We are dedicated to developing talented and skilled stylists.

All our team members attend in-salon training & participate in extra seminars & workshops per year, thus ensuring our clients receive the best & latest in fashion & technique.

Our education includes having onsite salon trainers who actively ensure quality control & skill developement.
